i think crowley was wayy too cocky and confident this season. i know he had his moments and his response to being nervous around hell has always been to put on a show but in s1 it showed much more that the WAS nervous. like he should have been terrified the whole time he was in heaven and hell. i guess the only explanation is that he thought the body swap had bought him a perception of invincibility but it still doesnt make much sense for him to not be at least a little visibly on edge. maybe he was with beelzebub, idk, but he wasn't in heaven
ALSO. its literally unbelievable he was lounging in a chair while michael and uriel were threatening aziraphale. furfur and the zombies i kind of get, if it's that he realized furfur's miracles would be blocked too and he felt his best opener was to fake confidence and disdain to throw him off. iirc he did get up when they said they had evidence.
but there was NO REASON for him to not be at aziraphale's side for michael and uriel. OR for him to let aziraphale go off with the metatron alone. like what the fuck
