I love how Bloodborne has such interesting lore. And if you watched Charred Thermos' SEVERAL part in depth video essay about the real life inspirations it's a lot more fucked up.

But also it has silly little moments in it like how you can basically play dress up with the messengers. You can also just turn it into a dress up game with virtually no consequences. (I do) Fisting your enemies to kill them. The Doll's reactions to your gestures. Micolash's death line never ceases to crack me up, I find myself quoting him when he dies. Wearing the golden ardeo and going down ladders. And the milkweed rune just turns you into a cauliflower alien.
