How do you have such active followers? I have an ok amount of followers but they never interact with me? When I post things, I get no likes, or when I reblog an "send me whatever on anon" I never get any asks? It feels like I have no friends on here and it sucks.
ahhh tbh this is tricky. tumblr is really weird. i have a lot of followers. but i know people who have less followers than me and they get waayyy more interaction. i also know people who have more followers than me and they don’t get much interaction.
i know it feels lonely. trust me, i know. i remember when i had 5k followers and would get no asks. and i would reblog ask games, but people would just reblog the post for their blog, and not send me anything. but then someone who had 500 followers would be getting spammed with asks. it did make me feel lonely. like no one really cared about me.
but, i recommend keep trying to interact. keep posting about your day. keep reblogging ask games. because you will get interaction one day. it helps if you interact with other people first. send them asks for ask games. send them a random nice message off anon. this will make you seem more approachable.
i know tumblr is a hard place to be on when you don’t really have anyone to talk to, and all you see are posts of groups of friends interacting and having fun. but, you’ll make your own group of friends! :”)) please, please know i’m always here whenever you want to talk!!! mutual or not, i adore everyone and i don’t want someone to feel lonely <33
