I'm the innocent nonnie that hoped Lando would have freed himself of the belt. I have to say that I do enjoy darker stories, just, my brain doesn't go there on its own. I read the bullet list sequel and was like, actually this fucks so much. And now you are posting it in snippets!!!! I'm kind of proud of all the nonnies that seduced you into it ngl.
What I'm enjoying the most about this sequel is the slice of life format of the story, in contrast to the first one where it was this big event for Lando. Daniel allowing Lando his trinkets and hobbies but also fucking him the way he knows Lando will hate himself for 😵💫😵💫😵💫 <333
ooh, thanks so much for coming back to say hi, lando-escape-nonnie, i'm glad you're digging the sequel even though it went in a different direction than you'd originally been hoping for, haha.
I posted part three of in absentia this morning because it was slightly longer and also slightly nicer and i felt like that would be a good way to start the weekend.
it's awesome the slice of life style is working for you -- yeah, in anticipation was lando finding out what the next stage of his life was going to look like, and now the sequel is him living it. there will be, shall we say, another big event happening at some point in the sequel, but we're not there yet...
and yes, the nonnies freaking lifted me up on fluffy clouds and floated me right over to the gdoc, it has truly been the most fun thing in the world to share this verse with the galaxy brains on tumblr who are also being so kind and generous. i genuinely wouldn't have written the sequel, because i just truly didn't think it would be of interest, but I wanted to and i'm so so grateful that you guys are here for it. 2025 has been a very rancid very fun year for writing so far.
