hello everyone! 

we’re are beyond excited and surprised to see how quickly we were able to receive ten apps just within a few days of the roleplay’s soft opening! you guys are truly amazing and we’re so glad to see how many of you have expressed interest by submitting your apps so soon!

now that we have reached our goal of ten apps for opening, we have decided to set TODAY as the official grand opening for the roleplay! to allow some more time for our members, the official opening and acceptance posts won’t be until much later. as clarification, our grand opening is TODAY, AUGUST 16th AT 9PM EST/GMT-4.

with that, we want to remind everyone that intros should be made only after all the acceptance graphics have been posted. intros should also be tagged with the appropriate tag #ilsintro so that all members will see it. 

if you have any questions or concerns regarding opening and acceptance, please let us know! until then, we’re all very excited to start seeing the development and plans that you all have for your muses at ilsang!

we’re hopping on here to announce that this week there will be no activity check, as we would like to open up a discussion about the continuation of our roleplay. after a few weeks of remaining open, our admod team has realized that the roleplay had not gained the traction we were expecting to, which is why there is/was such a delay on our initial founder’s day event. as to point out the elephant in the room, yes, part two of our event had not happened due to an underwhelming response to the opening of our roleplay. the event was intended to have a choose your own path part, which was meant for a group of more than 10 members. however, as fall semester hit for many of our members, it became clear that part two was just something that would be a bit overwhelming for the group in general.

our admod team has worked hard on this roleplay, and we appreciate everyone who has joined us in our journey thus far. we have so much planned for the overall plot of this group, but we are also realizing that the lack of activity, both for current and potential newcomers, may be something that is out of our control. since we’ve spent a lot of time dedicate to world building and plot development, we would hate to see ilsang and the potential of its current muses go to waste, which is why we are opening up the floor for feedback from our community.

ilsang is intended to be a roleplay geared towards the plot development of the community itself, which is why we would like to hear about what would intrigue future and current members to continue to write with us. for now, we are pausing activity checks and allowing our members to freely write their muses as we discuss what the future of ilsang may look like. as we’ve stated, our admod team does have a lot of plans for the future ( memes, a halloween event, overall plot development ), but we would not want to continue the roleplay without our lovely community. hence, if anyone would like to leave their personal feedback, please comment or message the admod team. thanks for sticking around with us and being patient as we trudge through the busiest time of the year!

with the second week of our roleplay wrapping up, we wanted to come and share a few announcements! first and foremost, with week three rolling around, we are allowing the reservations and/or applications of second muses. since most of you have been here since the opening of ilsang, you will be able to take on a muse starting september 6th! 

with that being said, to encourage newcomers and current members, we are also removing the human cap at this time. although we would like to see some new muses who are aliens, we are open and welcome to those who would like to apply as a human. if any newcomers would like some ideas on either human or alien muses, please let feel free to reach out to us! there is an ask we answered previously in which we also discussed some muses we would like to see in ilsang as well! we will also be taking this opportunity to encourage current members to send in any wanted connections they may have for their muse as well! 

if any current or new members also want suggestions on faceclaims, we do have a mwf page ! we are also more than happy to answer any asks pertaining to the matter.

lastly, we apologize for the time it has been taking to post the second part of the event, as we really want to make the event special for all of you. please anticipate the second event coming out within the following week. we would like to thank you all for your patience!

as we come near the end of week two of ilsang being open, our admod team would like to announce that activity checks will be starting THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 28TH AT 10PM EST/GMT-5. please remember that in order to be considered an active member of our roleplay, we request that each member has an intro before the next activity check as well as a post (starter, reply, solo) of at least 150 words. please keep this in mind as we reach the end of week two! we have enjoyed the muses which have joined our roleplay thus far, and would hate to see you leave! 

hello everyone! with that, our first batch of applications has now passed and we are officially open! 

we want to give a big welcome to all of our members and thank you all for taking the time to apply and join our growing community. now that all acceptance posts have been made, we hope to start seeing all your intro posts soon along with all your interactions and developments!

having received ten applications so we could open this soon was truly amazing! as for our friends who fell short of the first acceptance round, do not fret! we currently run on a rolling basis for acceptances. therefore, you can submit your app at anytime and the admod team will review as soon as they can so that you can take part as soon as you can too!

we’ve received a lot of asks about the lore recently and hope that means we have more potential members who have yet to join us. on that point, we’d also like to announce that due to the growing gap we’ve noticed within just our first batch of apps, we will be putting a soft cap on human muses for now allowing up to 10. we’d really like to see more applicants bring us some aliens and hope that you’ll consider bringing one to spice things up!
