In this Head cannon, there is no death note, and L is not the worlds greatest detective. He’s “normal” university student. He actually has no need for university since he graduated at a very young age being the child prodigy he is and already had his masters degree by age 18. 

He also has a very good career as something....criminal justice/law related/maybe even medical related? and is pretty much set for life financially and on his own. The only reason he came back to university is because His dad (Watari) told him that he should go out more and probably find himself a girlfriend. 

Uni is stupidly easy for him even for the PhD level, which he is trying to obtain by going back, top of all his classes, and still somehow manages to be active in his favorite sports: tennis, and martial arts. He’s enjoying his university experience very much.

The rest of the students are slightly intimidated by his stoic demeanor but find that he’s actually a pretty chill dude. He’s also usually willing to help other students study and such, that’s how he makes friends. 

Fun Facts:He still keeps in contact with his childhood friends Nate Rivers, Mihael Keel, and Mail Jeevas

He has low blood sugar so thats why he keeps snacks, usually sweets, on him all the time and can be found eating them frequently.

stays up too late, because he suffers from insomnia, also his brain is always oto active for sleep
