I don't know how to term it but let's just say it's a delayed or rather prolonged reaction to everything that's happened in CDO. I passed by Carmen bridge today and saw the river bank. With clothes hanging from the bent trees. With dried mud splattered at the walls of wrecked houses. And how empty and desolate the place is. It doesn't look like nature's wonder. Rather, it looks like nature's wrath. And even 3 weeks later since that awful night, I still feel really sad. It tugs my heart. To think of the horror the people felt. The panic. The desperation to save one's self, family, and homes. Does it still make me cry? Yes. It does. But, it's good to say we are not just victims. More so, we are survivors. :))
