Well this is an excellent question and I've been hoping someone would ask it at some point. So thank you again for sending me this. I hope you don't mind me posting this publicly. If you do, let me know and I'll take it down.

Best qualities:

I'll try to make this as compact as possible because seriously, almost everything about Helena is great.

She's extremely resourceful. There's literally nothing that can hold her back. She's smart, she's clever, she knows how to fight, she knows how to talk to people to avoid fights.

She's also very feminine and I think that's a good quality for someone as tough as Helena because it's not often that you find a female hero who's willing to embrace her feminine side and not be ridiculed for it by other characters or the writers.

She's not ashamed of the things she likes and believes in and she's not afraid to stand up for those values. She's also not afraid to tell people to their face that they suck. She's extremely loyal to her allies, despite some of said allies treating her extremely bad in the past. She's also caring. She's one of the most caring characters I've ever seen and she's willing to go to great lengths for the people she cares about.

Worst qualities:

There's not a lot of these.

I got this vibe from Year One that she was a bit ignorant to other people's beliefs. She had her own way of doing things and she had her religion and she judged everyone based on that. For example when she crashed the wedding party at Wayne Manor and told Bruce that god will judge him for what he's done. It just seemed that they wrote her to be a bit too fanatic when it came to religion. I know it's an important part of her character, but they took it a bit too far in Year One, making too much mention of it and really being all up in people's faces and having her judging people based on her faith. Don't get me wrong, I love that they figured out the specifics for Helena, such as her ethnicity and faith (not a lot of characters have that on their biography), but it's always been something that strengthened her mission as a vigilante rather than being the drive of it. But the main cause of this would be the fact that it was an origin story, so she's not supposed to be fully developed as a character yet in those stories.
