So, a lot of people seem to have so much trust in ai detectors like illuminarty. Especially while accusing people of generating their art. In some amino spaces leadership team was going to use illuminarty to decide whenever to punish users for art theft or not. Thankfully, they decided against it (not without editing the PSA, acting like they never proposed such a thing and getting mad at me)
Illuminarty is absolutely not reliable and should not be used as proof against users in no way.
"But I put my own art through it and it showed me accurate results!" Probably because of your skill level or style. Or colors you pick. Or retrograde Mercury.
I made a further experiment by putting more random pics through this detector.
This pic was taken by me when a bus I was taking from one town to another broke twice and had to be replaced. (Licence plate and bus number edited out post detection)
Oil painting above my bed, with and without flash
Warriors book cover, 2006
Spongebob movie (2004)
The iron giant (1999)
Another, acrylic painting above my bed
I'm not even sure at this point what makes this detector give these results. But as you can see it detects whatever as AI if it feels like it.
And yet another picture I've generated for funsies back when generators became a thing. Hold onto your chairs, because you're about to be blown away (sarcasm)
Yep, legit WoF fanart made by an actual human.
I'm not a human btw, apparently, because my selfie is also generated. Nothing is real, we're living in a matrix, wake up!
