&&-- “Wright and Co., hm? It looks like you've been doing quite well without me.” With arms crossed, a hand reaches to flick away the sharp bangs away from her eyes. Her stern expression softens once she's confronted him, a teasing smile weaving onto her lips.
&&-- “It's good to see you again, Phoenix.”

She had known from the name that the place she was beckoned to was no place that sold burgers. The flashy lights and smells of rice bowl specialty shop only confirmed such thoughts as she stood before it.
What an odd man, she mused -- perhaps Western and Eastern foods were flipped in his world? She thought to ask him, though that was if he appeared. She’d been waiting about fifteen minutes, unsure of why she came. Sometimes, her natural curiosity was both a burden when it was not an advantage. She reserved a table for two, and continued to wait.Â
Well, she had been free today, and she was a very patient woman, so she didn’t mind so much as long as she had a book to read. In fact, right as she flipped a page, a sound caused her to look up; the sound of bowls crashing to the floor.
“... Oh.”
Looks like that man had arrived.

Wocky had seen lots of weird and strange things in his time in Hive City, but this one was really throwing him for a loop. A brow quirked, Wocky watched the man inside the coffee shop as he ordered his coffee. I mean...it’s gotta be him, He thought to himself.
No one else could have that hairdo. Even if most of the time he’d seen him, said spiky hairdo had been hidden under a blue beanie, he still knew what it looked like. Trucy had shown him pictures before - it was him. He supposed it was something weird the city had done - he’d never really seen it happen before, but he’d heard that people could be pulled from their worlds at different stages in his life.
Why would Phoenix be any different?
When Phoenix walked out, Wocky approached him cautiously, so as not to scare him. Of course, this only made him look even more suspicious.
“Ey uh, you uh....you Phoenix Wright? Th’lawyer?”

Ryu had been wandering around for a long time to get here. The streets of Japan were never so hectic, bustling with people -- and sometimes not-people? Ryu felt like his brain was going to explode. He had never been particularly superstitious, but to think youkai were actually real all along... he decided not to think about it.
Instead, he knocked on the door of the building he stood in front of before slowly cracking open the door and peeking in. The front room was in disarray, but it looked lived-in, at least. So this should be the place he was looking for, if he had gotten the blocks right. He stepped about halfway through the door, and peered around the room, his gaze resting on a blue-suited man.
For some reason, Ryu instantly thought of his dad.
“Oh, um, pardon the intrusion,” he said, bowing his head and banishing the thought because wow that was weird. “Is this the law office?”

@illogicaldefender.
The logical conclusion upon arriving to a strange city, Kristoph reflected, was to assume no one you knew also dwelled within its confines. He hadn’t been locked away so long that he’d forgotten the lay of the city where he lived, and a mere cursory glance told him this one wasn’t it.
So suffice it to say that he expected a city of strangers. Upon exiting the building he had been in at the start, he rounded a corner onto another street. The idle chatter of the city met his ears, muted enough that he could not make out individual words. At once it was much closer and further away than the noise in solitary had been, all around him and yet much quieter. He found he rather liked it.
With no pressing developments needing his attention (and why would they? After all, he was a nobody in this city, with no law office to call his own), he merely stood for a moment, observing. It was this that finally led his eyes to a head of spiky black hair, slicked back into that absurd shape he’d grown used to seeing around.
Kristoph’s lips tightened and his hand, resting on the crook of his other arm, clenched the fabric of his sleeve between its fingers.
“Wright,” he said, as the man grew close enough to hear him.

Okay... That suit was way too bright for this man to be an actual businessman, but Kurisu’s options were really wearing thin at this point.
“Excuse me?” despite the man’s formal attire and how it much older he had to be than the girl, Kurisu spoke to him without of the ordinary nervousness that most people her age would have.
“I was wondering if you could give me directions to the place I’m staying at.”
