#illayato

ok !!!!!! so it’s night and the traveler (lumine, im gay) is staying at the estate for some reason, she’s in the guest room which is next to ayakas. ayaka is in bed with her stomach rumbling and bubbling. very uncomfortable. she keeps burping, trying to get rid of the nausea but it just gets worse and worse and she ends up puking on her sheets. it’s super chunky too and sticks to her hair.

she sits up and keeps burping into her hand, then throws up on the floor and her feet but uh oh. it’s carpet. so she starts crying because she made such a mess and it leads to lumine coming in because she heard her crying.

she asks what’s going on and ayaka whimpers “i got sick” and “i made a mess..” and she’s just. so upset. lumine sits down next to her and rubs her back, telling her it’s alright and if she can do anything. ayaka says “can you please get thoma” and lumine agrees and goes searching for him.

thoma is with ayato though, they’re talking about something, so when lumine comes in, ayato asks if she needs anything. she says she’s fine “but ayaka threw up and asked for thoma”. ayato immediately asks “is she crying again?” because it’s a regular occurrence for ayaka to cry after throwing up.

so they go back to her room and ayaka is a bit surprised (and embarrassed) to see ayato join them, but that’s his sister and he’s worried.

they both start comforting her and lumine sits next to her again, rubbing her back again. ayaka apologizes to everyone multiple times but especially to thoma since he just changed her sheets this morning.

but after a while her nausea returns and she vomits again, one time, and then thoma holds his hands under her chin and she throws up some more. she’s sobbing and apologizing between burps and sobs and lumine suggests going to the bathroom.

she takes ayaka there and holds her hair as ayaka just,,,, fucking makes a huge mess because she’s crying and can’t aim.

meanwhile thoma is changing the sheets, he went to wash his hands quickly before. he turns to ayato who seems to just be standing around and asks if he’s alright, ayato then lets out a burp, groans and tells him he’s okay, just a bit shaken up from seeing someone — his sister — puke. but a few moments later he’s clutching ayakas little trashbin and dry heaving into it until he starts to vomit as well, quick watery waves that fill up the bin relatively quick. thoma rubs his back.

i did have hcs for them before but here’s new ones bc i forgor what i said:

general illness:

- doesn’t get sick very often

- more of a migraine type of guy

- when he gets sick, it’s hard to notice for the first few days

- he only has a slight fever flush and sniffles a bit

- though after a few days you can see he is Unwell

- like sweating through his clothes, shaking, super slow and achy

- first sign is that he wont drink his boba, but regular tea

- thoma can tell immediately because he knows him so well, but will wait to confront him

- still stays up working until he collapses

- you can hear him groaning in his sleep though 👀

emeto:

- loud tummy !!!! super gurgly

- lots of suppressed burps and gurgles coming from his throat

- terrible acid reflux

- excuses himself during meetings to dry heave over the toilet for a few minutes. but it gets so frequent that everyone is Aware. he also looks exponentially worse every time he comes back

- lots of drool, it keeps coming

- rubbing his stomach in private, just burping loudly

- has thrown up on himself that way (accidentally) multiple times

- fun fact: doesn’t understand washing machines. walk of shame to thoma with puked on clothes

- gets carsick

- horrendous projectile vomit. it goes so far

- loud as fuck, practically gargling

- lots of dry heaving afterwards too

- moving around. cant sit or kneel. he’s bent over but can’t hold his balance well

- has had thoma press on his stomach or gag him a few times when it just wouldn’t come up

- thrown up on important documents multiple times

- has a trash can next to his desk especially for when he’s working through a migraine

ayaka:

- tbh i love thinking she’s into it for ayathoma reasons (and oc x ayaka reasons ok cdncncj)

- but if she’s not:

- thinks getting sick is a weakness and gets very depressed about it, tries to act like nothing is wrong

- has thrown up all over the table @ a fancy dinner once bc she was sure she could hide it

- gets carsick !!!!!

- will cry if 1) she’s alone 2) she’s exhausted and just wants to feel better

- lots of “mnn” and “hmm”

- has thrown up on thoma multiple times while he comforted her

- she has tried to gag herself but she gets way too anxious

- high pitched coughs that end in sudden, deep burps, projectile vomit

- lots of hiccups before and after

- “excuse me”, “im terribly sorry” “how rude of me”

ayato:

- sensitive stomach

- migraine city my dudes

- has ALSO thrown up on thoma multiple times

- very sweaty, pants a lot

- if he feels really bad and he feels it coming up, he will just let it out (all over himself bc i say so)

- lots of spitting and just very wet sounds

- projectile KING, it goes so far

- gets carsick too!!!!!

- if it’s from alcohol/bad food, he will try to gag himself or (if reaaally bad) ask thoma to help him

- burpy af and embarrassed abt it sometimes

thoma:

- someone help this poor man

- sympathy puker

- the type to swallow it back down and just. shudder

- has been thrown up on OH so many times

- carsick trio babey!!!!!!

- (high pitched) hiccups that literally shake his body

- long, deep gurgles as it pours out of him

- gets very dizzy but tries his best to act like he’s fine

- silent retches at first but they - once again - jolt his entire body

- face gets super red

- has cried out of shame / embarrassment before

- gets food poisoning a LOT somehow

- just seeing certain foods will make him gag

- breathy, fast gags/heaves afterwards

- tends to overeat and often ends up being comforted by ayaka/ayato while he drools over the toilet from nausea
