- Pan Roasted Scallops with Asparagus Cream, Egg Yolk & Truffle Sauce: YUM. Scallops are just round white things with no eyes that peel in layers and taste like love, aren't they? The asparagus sauce was delish too, and I thought it complemented the scallops really well.

- Squid Ink Taglierini with Crab & Saffron: Between both the pastas, this was the winner for me. I liked that it wasn't too heavy. Just a light sauce so you could really enjoy the pasta.

- Wagyu Beef Cheek with Caramelized Root Vegetables: I'm not a beefy kinda girl, but Ash is a beefy kinda guy and he enjoyed this dish. The meat was very tender. As for the veggies.. anything is good when it is caramelized. Even by the students at Temptations ;)

- Traditional Tiramisu: I don't usually opt for Tiramisu as a first choice, but this one was pretty good. It tastes.. expensive! Hahaha! Ash loved this a lot. (He is a coffee drinker). 

And that's about it! If you ask me to choose, I'd say the classic is better than the tasting menu overall.. but the foie gras is the best dish!

(Disclaimer: Since I am only human, I judge food based on my expectations. We shelled out about RM 200 for each set, hence, expectations were pretty high. So when I say it was okay, it doesn't mean it was bad or bordering on tolerable. In fact, everything was pretty decent. It just means, for the price I paid, it was just okay..)
