Last week I made the biggest choice of my life. I had to reject four universities offers- I had to reject big name schools that wanted me because I chose to go where my heart wanted me to go. I still cannot believe I rejected a full academic scholarship to Berkeley. It blows my mind that I was even accepted there, it also blew my mind that I was accepted into UCLA, USC and Alabama. Four huge schools. They all wanted me, but I chose an entirely different school. I pulled my name from the waiting list at University of Reno, Nevada to accept University of Las Vegas' offer instead. It was the hardest decision of my life. It was clouding my mind for months about what I was going to do. UNLV has a great psychology program that will eventually get me to apply to Harvard or Yale to study Forensic Psychology, something that I've always wanted to do since I was four years old. I feel that I made the best choice and even though my father doesn't agree with me changing my school choice, it doesn't matter because in the end what matters is that I'm happy.
