Iklect and Radulthood recently took residency at Parlour Skate Store, curating an evening based around the appearance and modifications of griptape presentation.
Those unable to make the opening (like myself), owe thanks to Sirus F. Gahan, who captured a fraction of the night’s atmosphere.
Fortunately, I was able to wander around the display post event, bearing eyes on artwork from renowned and respected individuals, as well as pieces from promising new talent spread across the globe.
The exhibition won’t be a permanent fixture and will temporarily run for another week or so. I strongly recommend anyone in the London area to hit this up.

I'm very excited to announce that the second Grip Thumb exhibition is coming to the Parlour 'Presents' Art Space in Shoreditch in March. Radulthood are collaborating with Iklect to curate the space and we've got a load of awesome artists on board. Grip Thumb was amazing. Thank you to everyone who came, Al Hodgson for all his hard work putting the exhibition together and Benny Ellis for shooting video and photos on the night. Thanks to all our sponsors too: Level Skateboards, Boardstix, NVMBR, Rush Hour Supply and Stay Rad Skates.
We're working on an edit of the night which will be up in the coming weeks and a zine of the show will go on sale around that time. We'll be launching a shop to sell the work and some limited edition Grip Thumb tees too.
