I miss you. I miss everything about you. All your little antics and your grandest gestures, I remember them all so vividly in my head. I miss your cooking, how you prepare everything, for everybody to share. I miss how you always give your best to provide, only the best.

I miss how you smile so big, showing your crooked teeth, every time we visit. I will always find you in your favorite spot, with one knee flexed, the way you sit in the dining table. I miss seeing that. By the way, I got that habit too.

I miss you, and your voice so full of authority yet sounding still so sweet and kind, and so loving. I miss how you reach out your hand so I could kiss it and you’d pull me close to you so you could sniff my cheek, or my hair. I miss how you hug me, and the kind of security it gives. It takes away all my fears and it makes me forget all my worries.

You are the best and the superlative for every good trait. I have never met a man who will ever come close to how you were. I guess I never will.

Maybe that’s why I miss you so, so, so bad... nobody, nothing compares to you. I miss you.

I look at all the years that passed and I wish we had you for a little longer. I wish you saw me finish my studies, and how I still strive to pursue my dream because I dreamt this dream with you. I wish I make you proud.

I miss you. I miss you so, so, so bad. We all do.

My heart still hurts. I still long for you, your voice, your touch, your life...
