Ok this is going to be more like a spoiler-ish mix of headcanon / fantheory-to-quite-possibly-be-debunked-by-b2nd / and quite possibly just ‘this is how I would write it if I ever tackled a novelization’ so it’s gonna go under a cut right from the start
Airy is possessive of Agnès; while other vestals have served her purposes, Agnès is the one she uses most often simply because she's also the only one who comes straight to her in all the worlds, having been sent by Khamer. The fairy has a habit of invading her personal space simply because as she sees it, Agnès shouldn't have any personal space from her.
As annoying as Airy finds it when her favorite vestal starts to stray for shepherds, Airy practically depends on Tiz. The first time she spared the party, it was simply because Grandship was still in working condition and she figured she could get away with conning them one more time. Subsequent times? A lot more dicey. They were starting to question more. The reason she continued to spare them? Was because as the group was unconscious, she found the Tiz of that next world dead, and knew starting a new group would have been an incredible pain in the butt.
Seriously though, Airy has whole lists of contigencies and things to check in her head for the situation of a world. She knows where Tiz and/or Til fall if they do, she knows different locations to look for Olivia if Agnès is... unavailable, she knows of the vestalings she'll have to wait to be found if both vestals have gotten themselves killed. (She really hates when both of them have gotten themsleves killed. How rude!) At the same time, she actually doesn't have anywhere near a perfect memory--her memory is probably much like a human's. If someone unexpectedly resurfaced to yell at her over someone she killed 100 worlds ago, she'd be like "well I GUESS I probably killed them then because I have a few times but idr man". Her memory is designed for patterns, but not specific occurences, thus she is still surprised when certain events occur even though she probably has seen them happen once before in the chain--it doesn't happen often enough. This is partly because her purpose is to chain the worlds as quickly as possible (patterns are useful for learning shortcuts, getting hung up about specific occurences is not), partly because Ouroboros saw her as a tool and do you really want a tool to be able to think in the same timespan and scope that you do?
Similarly, she actually has been defeated by Warriors of Light before. Or really, a different Airy was, and then another Airy was created by Ouroboros to continue the cycle, with all the memories of the other Airy except... strangely hazy on that last world. (It's a pattern she's not allowed to learn. Cattle might get uncooperative if it realizes it has a good chance of dying, not in any one world, but eventually.) The pattern as far as she knows it is that her memory sometimes goes odd after a point of Ringabel showing up. Amnesia's not supposed to be contagious, though, right? Ugh. She'd rather just avoid him, especially considering he's the dark knight, but he's never managed to remember the truth in time (as far as she remembers) and he does usually make things faster with Grandship...
Ever since. Someone pointed out that Florem worshipping fairies and giant snakes is AWFULLY SUSPICIOUS in light of the Orthodoxy's corruption and Ouroboros... Notice how there's more than one instance of people yelling "monster!" when they first see Airy? People can actually perceive that she is a monster, but she actually is related to the Flories, they're a precursor of her and her sisters in design, and just as their wings have chemicals that can affect human minds when torn off... hers are actually, actively giving them off all the time. Hers have a way of pacifying people (hahaha, how could she hurt anyone, she's just a cute little cryst-fairy!). She has knocked the entire group out with it when they were passing through the Holy Pillar, but also, the group felt weird about how much BETTER they suddenly felt after only a few days of being away from her. It's very weird. (Agnès is most heavily affected by this simply because of proximity. This really is just how I might justify some things that otherwise frustrate me, but dangit I like this justification.)
Yulyana and worlds 5 & 4 Mephilia can both perceive Airy's larval form. Yulyana's had 1800 years to get used to the fact that he probably would see his Angel under the sway of a monster. ...Mephilia just thinks it's hilarious.
Airy eats with the group, just a little. She really doesn't need to, she pretty much thrives off of darkness, but you try traveling around tens of thousands of worlds with babies that think with their stomachs, see if you don't end up with the occasional hankering for sausage and tea. (Her tastes align most with Agnès', given who is most often going to share a part of their plate with her, but she has to say there's something satisfying about steak cooked rare and still bloody.)
Airy loves being paid attention to and actually really enjoys whenever a warrior of light pays attention to her just because she's there, not because she's guiding them to save the world or anything. Edea wants to get her little doll-sized clothes that are cute and comfortable? Sure, as long as she listens to her preferences! That said, she doesn't really understand friendship or love, doesn't think about how they might like attention beyond just the amount she spends to manipulate them back, so she always gets extra frustrated and angry when they inevitably drift to people who treat them more kindly. Doting on Airy has occasionally led to a worse death in the end just for that.
One of her favorite worlds was when she got to team up with Victoria as her vestal. They even parted quite amicably, since Victoria was going to die anyway! That world was a mess and she'd never try to purposely duplicate the events that led to it, too many chances of something going wrong, but gosh was it the best mess.
Airy still lingers as a ghost in the Dark Aurora, though with it disconnected from all the worlds now there's hardly any chance of her harming someone. But the Dark Aurora still exists, if just beyond the world-bounds, and on very rare occasions, she thinks she can hear a vestal praying to the crystals, praying that a wicked cryst-fairy might recognize the evil she did and renounce it, let the crystals guide her into a new life where she could learn to be good and love and be loved, not use and be used.(And Airy often sneers, because oh, Agnès always was and will be the most soft-hearted little fool.)(But sometimes, it's tempting.)

(sorry if this is intrusive) are you ever going to finish the stories on dreamwidth because i kinda love them.
Oh gosh. Â Not intrusive, but I'd forgotten I'd even linked my dw on here or anything! Â And the answer is going to be a little disappointing: of the four BD fics on there, only one of those stories is planned to continue.
...The good news is, hey, one of those others was already done! Â "Good Morning" (with Ringabel waking up with everyone in his bed) was already posted in a more complete version on tumblr/AO3/ff.net.
Kidlet fic! Â When I wrote it I was wavering between two versions: one where they are ALL kids and one where only Tiz is a kid. Â The one where only Tiz is a kid has been v e r y slowly written and I don't know when it'll be done, but it's that one I'm writing rather than the one where they're all little.
"Bravely Interlude" I'm definitely wanting to finish! Â Though it needs tweaks because it did use some ideas from Pocketbook of R... which I don't actually know all the details of, haha. Â Just a couple of days ago I learned more about the novels and realized one part wasn't quite right.
A hazard sign? Â Rather appropriate, considering one person he thinks of off the bat.
"I'm afraid of people like Qada, and Victoria. Â Ouroboros," Tiz admits. Â "People who see little reason not to hurt others. Â It's not that I think they can't be stopped. Â More... how many lives will be lost or ruined by the time they are? Â Can the holes they leave really be erased?"
How do you fight without armor, weapons, accessories or asterisks?
I'm not the right person to ask that question...I've never done any real fighting without the Freelancer asterisk. I never had to learn how to fight in Norende. The most threatening thing out there was a grumpy old ram - he used to chase children out of the field, even if they were shifted! He died when I was young, though...
No equipment...well, even Natural Talent needs some training in the Monk Asterisk to use. I'm not sure if it's safe or possible to fight without any of those things. Maybe Edea knows something?
