Okay so I've seen some stuff about the Jared Leto uproar about him winning an oscar nd how one of the arguments is that they got a straight man to play this "trans" part (excuse me for not using correct terms) I've never seen the movie or even invested my time in Jared Leto period (nd I am no way condoning or even truly know about his rape allocations so this has nothing to do with that) but the fact that people are going through great lengths to point this out or point out other actual trans actors who could have played this part bothers me a bit. acting is an art form. he studied nd worked both his mind nd body to become this completely different persona. clearly that's the point of acting.
