Style and quality changes over time. The first was meant only to be a sketch to refer to, but I wanted to use it to become more comfortable, and to really "complete" the design for him, going forward. It's based on what's natural for me when I draw him, mixing official art from all the games, including Dawn of the dragon specifically on DS, and my own childhood traits.

Portrait of Pyra. He is background character in one of flashbacks in The Legend of Spyro game. He was Ignitus' battle squire and banner carrier in the Inferno Battalion. He seems survived all events, but didn't appear in any games. So i did this as tribute for small heroic dragon, who deserved more love. I made him more grown up, to make him look, like he should in the same age as Spyro in Dawn of the Dragon. I planned to make this art for Spyro community day, but late.
