MASSIVE UPDATE TO SWGOH INCOMING. If you’ve got a lot of spare time, come read this enormous update post. It reveals that The Era of Anniversary has 7 new toons:
1. Stormtrooper Luke [intended to lift Rebels from A New Hope, unknown if he’ll fit into Leia Organa’s team]
2. IG-90 [a Tank for Doctor Aphra!]
3. Yoda & Chewie [lifter for Wookiees]
4. Asajj Ventress (Dark Disciple) [intended to lift Boba Fett, Scion of Jango, but who knows what the future has in store for her]
5. Inquisitor Barriss [intended to lift leftover Inquisitors in 3v3 and maybe Cere Junda’s team in other gamemodes]
6. Darth Vader (Duel’s End) [the second Elite Marquee in the game, meant to take Emperor Palpatine and Mara Jade, The Emperor’s Hand and potentially other homeless Empire toons and make a deadly team!]
7. Maul (Hate-Fueled) [the Journey Guide Legendary character of this Era, intended to find his place with The Stranger in Starkiller’s team!]
Notably there seems to be enough time for a Conquest character… or ship… to be released near the end of this Era. Keep your eyes peeled!
The news post also reveals that they’re making Relics easier to get in a variety of ways (which they list off in detail, too lengthy to say here) and are making major changes to the game!
