Feels like I just got a divine intervention...
So my day job wants us to come in an hour early, changing a 9 hour day to 10 hours + commute. Since my husband's car is in the shop, I have to take my e-bike. Yesterday wasn't too bad, but somewhere along the way home my back tire popped.
Now this morning, dead fucking tired and trying to get myself awake enough for a 13 mile bike ride a good while before the crack of dawn- I notice that my tire is flat. Part of me is overjoyed; an excuse to take a day off that isn't pathetically lying about being sick! But then I remember that I'm gonna have to repair the tire myself or have it fixed at a shop... including buying most if not all of the supplies.
