Happy Birthday to ME! I spent 39 1/2 years holding on to failures, let downs, and pain. Holding MYSELF captive IN MY MIND for things I had no control over and definitely can't control TODAY. At 39 1/2 years I began a SERIOUS journey unpacking my shit, letting go of stuff, and truly working on ME. I was holding shame... About be molested... Being hazed in college trying to pledge a fraternity... Not finishing shool... Being gay... Being effeminate... (The ones that quickly came to mind) TODAY I celebrate ALL of ME! EVERYTHING... the good, the bad, and the ugly helped to make me. At 40 I FORGAVE myself. I begin to respect and love myself. And took MY POWER back. I started making bold statements CONFIDENTLY about who I am, and what I want to do. I'M NOT DONE! We are ALL a work in progress. But for today AT 41 I celebrate ME... ALL of ME! At 41...
