that it's okay to take up space. I'd teach her that she doesn't have to make herself smaller just so someone else can feel like they fit. I'd teach her that a man's validation is not the end all be all. I'd teach her that she can be whatever she wants to be in this world no matter what any one has to say--- man or woman. I'd teach her that other women aren't her competition; they're her sisters, and they should lift each other up. I'd teach her that embracing her sexuality is perfectly okay, and just because it makes some people uncomfortable doesn't mean she should hide it. I'd teach her that people are going to constantly label her and try to put her in a box, but I'd also teach her that it's not what they call her or say about her that matters. It's about who she knows she is and what she thinks about herself. I'd teach her how to handle people who are gonna tell her that women should be seen and not heard (tell them to hear you clearly when you say 'shut the fuck up'). I'd teach her to be kind and accepting, but I'd also teach her not to take any shit from anyone. I'd teach her that it's okay to be a strong and powerful woman regardless of what men say. Most importantly, I'd teach her that this world is going to try to tear her down everyday, but she has the strength to overcome all of it because there's no such thing as a weak woman.
