I'm going to make trading cards eventually. I was right in the middle of my favorite destiel fic too. It's called The Joy of Scarcity and it's by fleeceframe. Freaking amazing fic BTW. Ima have to download this story once ao3 comes back.

I probably shouldn't say this but I'm gonna. It's my birthday today, and I feel like living dangerously. This started off as a comment on a blog I follow but got too long. So I'm bring brave and making a post, something I never do.
The psychotic orange shitler in office atm in my country(usa) was on the correct side of the communist argument back when that popped up in the 70s or whenever. Jane Fonda was very pro communism and anti veterans. From what I've seen, her views haven't changed much. Now. Trumpanzee also has turned out to be an absolute nightmare. He was James Potter. Exactly the same. Trumpet was a rich privileged white boy with power he abused to get what he wanted, and he never faced any consequences for his actions ever. Now who else does that sound like? Oh right. That's nearly line for line the exact same description for James potter.
This is why we don't excuse his actions just because his target in question happens to be deserving. Well, he isn't actually, but using a person's political views to justify treating them poorly is walking too close to using their sexual orientation or race to justify treating them poorly. Do you see in that light how dangerous these James stans are??
Do you understand why it's dangerous if we frame it in this way? Please tell me I don't have to explain that no one should be treated poorly. No one deserves to be bullied or shamed or publicly humiliated. Regardless of how they feel about xyz.
Regardless of how you feel about politics, regardless of age, sexual orientation, or race, or anything else, no one deserves to be tormented for those things. No one deserves stalking which potter and his asshole friends stalked Snape, even built an entire map to do so. They harassed sev. They stripped him against his will in front of half the school, and dear darling potter blackmails Lilly into dating him. I'm forgetting a bunch of stuff but this just isn't something I do normally. I am not one to debate usually. I enjoy reading through civil debates and polite discussions. However, this fandom has really got to learn how to agree to disagree. I've had one foot out the door of the Harry potter fandom for years because honestly, it's just not a nice place anymore. Litterally the discourse in hp fandom and the amount of shit I received for writing drarry fanfics that ventured outside the widely accepted collective fandom interpretations and accepted head cannons of the dynamics between Harry and Draco made me quit writing. I was told repeatedly to kill myself, to be ashamed of what I wrote and so on and so forth. I doubt I'll ever write a fanfic ever again and I definitely want nothing to do with darry anymore. I can't even read those fics anymore. I deleted most of them, orphaned the rest and deleted my ao3 account because the harassment wasn't worth it.
You all don't need to agree with each other, but for the love of all, that is Holly. You just need to agree to disagree, walk away, block each other, and let that be that. Make the fandom a fun, respectful, place to be once more. I'm begging you. It's not ok to harass each other over a difference of opinion. No two people will see or interpret the exact same information the same way. We all view the world and what we consume differently. We filter everything through our own perceptions, lived experiences, cultural, religious beliefs, financial status, and economic status. All these things affect our interpretations of these characters and books. Also, our age matters in understanding the context of what normal treatment is between teachers and students and others. Kids these days are so gentled and so soft that they literally can not understand what we Gen-xers have dealt with. So when I tell you Severus Snape was a damned lamb compared to some teachers I've had, well, he freaking was. And I'm not going to get into how all of the teachers in hogwarts have at least one moment where they do something shitty. Litterally, all of them, but the only one anyone ever wants to bash is Severus. The hypocrisy and double standards are completely ridiculous. I've blocked most of the worst snaters. At this point, I'm about to start researching how to block hashtags and block the entire marauders fandom completely. You're not the only ones ruining the fun, but good lord, you are the loudest source of contention and discourse, with the highest frequency of criticism towards others. Stop ganging up on people and baiting people into fights they didn't ask for. Just knock it off. I really worry about the future of the world if this is what the young people are like now. Not just your very concerning views on sa but the way you're all so comfortable being truly horrible to others. I beg you to get off your phones, go outside and touch grass, take a walk, sit in the sunshine, and take a long, hard look at yourselves and the world around you.
I'm going to try to figure out how to turn off the comments because I don't want to hear it. J. K. Rowling falls between the boomer generation and Gen x. This matters because it should give you some valuable and necessary context on what was normal and what was influencing her. Her writing is a reflection of who she is. Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall was an album that was written by a British rock band formed in 1965. That album put how kids were being treated in British private schools center stage and started a lot of conversations that led to actual change and standards of education that didn't exist prior. Yes, there were other factors in all of that, but that was a massive tip-off. That is also the era Snape, Sirius, and Potter were going to school in. Also. They did not ban the use of corporal punishment in British boarding schools until 2003. The year AFTER I graduated in 2002. So. In a school where Severus Snape could have legally beaten a kid with a paddle for disobeying him, and yes, that was real. My principal in elementary school had one hanging in the office and he would point to it every time one of the bad kids were sent there and he'd say 'next time you get sent here' so. Severus could have done nearly any damn thing he'd wanted to short of actually killing the students, and no one would've batted an eye about it. All things considered, I admire the man's remarkable restraint because if I had had a walking disaster like longbottom in my class, a student so cowardly and inept that he is a literal danger to himself and others, then I would not have simply verbally condemned him when I was legally allowed to beat the crap out of him. That is why I am not a teacher and why I don't work with kids. Because I know my limits and I can not coddle a dumbass like longbottom who is the jarjar binx of the Harry potter fandom.
I fall between generation x and the millennial generation. I was dirt poor and treated badly my whole life because I have a learning disability. I have dyslexia and severe adhd and my daughter was diagnosed as autistic and she likely got that from me because she didn't get that from her father. They didn't know what autism was when I was growing up in the early 80s. So just don't bother trying to bitch at me if I can't figure out how to turn the comments off. First, I don't care, and second, I'll just block you. I've said way more than I intended to and it probably doesn't make alit of sense but oh well. I feel better getting it off my chest and since no one ever reads my blog, which is mostly just my silly awful doidles, I doubt it'll matter. Just be nice ok?if not nice can you all please just try to be respectful? There's enough negative shit in the real world. Let's be civil online ok?
this was an accident
I have to put something here
can't figure out how to remove it

👀 This is gonna be Ron Weasely. Goth/Emo Ron Weasely because it's makes my alternative goth/emo heart happy.
The reference image is in fact ville vallo from HIM because why freaking not? 🤷♀️He's hot! 🔥 🥵 I've also used him as a reference for Harry too. Maybe I'll draw my three favorite hp boys in this style... 🤔 interesting idea that.
I made a mars attacks bookmark... trying to decide if it needs a tassle or not. 🤔
R.I.P Dame Maggie Smith
I posted this on threads & and Instagram but forgot about Tumbler, till now.
This was the other Harry potter piece I allowed myself this past Drawlloween season. I've been watching Maggie Smith in movies my entire life, and she nailed every character she ever portrayed.
Wands up for Professor Minerva McGonagall. /*
