I guess this is a fanwork submission, in essay form?? My favourite part of DMP is that like, everyone's special, and different, and that's not only okay, but also, like, it actively makes their situation better, and the fact that like, they don't condemn each other for their wishes, and the fact that, if the Murder God had different victims, they might have never escape, but, like, it looks like they just might, and it makes me, as an autistic so happy that it's the difference that counts

They're different yes, they're not always going to get on, yes, but they NEVER judge each other. They understand that each of their wishes were driven by human desire, which no-one can help. Whether it was selfish or wanting to help others, the common ground was none of them ever asked to be in this situation, and they put their support of each other over their previous desires.
I was watching the original tales from the Loop stream, and I was wondering what hardware/software Xander used for the robot voice
He used VoiceMod! It’s got a free version, but it cycles through the free voices available. The pro version has all the voices available, it’s $20 for a lifetime license, $10 for a year, $3 or $4 for 3 months. Definitely worth the money, I used the program for MG’s answering machine voice in the most recent DMP episode.-Kristen
if someone makes a deal with the Murder God for immunity to consequences, then do they still get dragged into the void?
Wouldn’t work, you can’t make a wish without paying for it. If a person tried that there’s two possibilities: A) MG drags them to the Void. The person tries to play the Murder Games but finds no one reacts or speaks to them, and should they Awaken they are locked out of interacting with everyone else. It’s a fact of life that all actions create reactions. If a person wants out of that, the only way to grant the wish is to remove them entirely from reality. You don’t want consequences? Okay, cool, but you can never take another action that would produce a consequence either positive or negative. To which you can argue “but that’s a consequence, doesn’t she have to grant the wish?” Haha fuck you, you tried to cheat so she gets to as well.B) MG gets pissed that you’re trying to make a deal that’s so clearly skewed out of her favor. You’re trying to weasel out of payment, that’s not how this works. You’re essentially asking if she’ll let you fucking steal from her. Since she can’t drag you into the Void to torture you forever because this wish cannot be granted, she instead just fucking stabs you.So yeah, interesting thought exercise but definitely not a good idea for the person making the wish.
not so much an ask, but (important) personal headcanon: When forced to do the Uwu voice the murder god she must always be drawn with big anime eyes, and completely redrawn into a kinda shoujo style, just something I thought needed sharing.

Exactly how long would it take to anger a murder god if the awakened just started calling a short stabbing wapon a "cuh-nife" instead of knife
I mean tbh knives don’t come up that often in DMP except for hers. I don’t think it would bother her too much if it were in the regular game, normal scenarios are already very silly.

Ultimate (and false) conspiracy theory: According to the Official DMP FAQ "unless text pops up on screen saying “[Insert Name Here] has Awakened,” they are NOT Awakened!" and Mcguillicutty has never had such an event, then technically speaking Mcguillicutty is not one of the thirteen lost souls, and in this essay I will convince you that the Murder god itself is in fact the thirteenth soul, but never changes identity because of her immortality, and the twelve must awaken her to finally escape.
Please continue the essay, I love essays even if I can’t comment on this one.
