alcoholism is bad because you wake up the next morning and realize you've run directly into the same train tunnel painted on the same cliff face that has gotten you hundreds of times before and you just have to live with the knowledge that you're a dumbass and make the exact same stupid choice despite knowing how it will end. and every time you do it you think well this time surely it'll be a real train tunnel and i'll be able to stop after one drink. it hasn't happened yet! but this could be the time! now lemme get a running start at this tunnel.
