Guys I went to see Idina Menzel in concert last night and I was sat in like the 29th row of the stalls, and when she asked if anyone had any questions I yelled ‘where did you get your top?’ Because it was amazing and sparkly and she laughed and said ‘You know, I had it made but I think it was copied from something in topshop’
And then when she invited kids up to sing, you bet your ass I went up there and she was like ‘oh, we’re getting into teenagers now’ and I said ‘what do you mean, I’m like 6!’ and she laughed. And then when we’d finished singing, she said ‘right, hugs for everyone and then please can you get off the stage safely’ because there were no steps, and when I hugged her I said ‘thank you so much for everything. Also that top really is amazing!’ And she laughed and said ‘You like my top? Well I love your lipstick!’
And that’s how I sat on a stage with Idina, recieved a hug from Idina, and got complimented by Idina fricking Menzel. This encounter saved my life, I swear. It’s everything I’ve lived for ever.
