Identity Theft - Who Owns Your CRAP?

Who Owns Your CRAP? 

Well, it should be you.  As a matter of fact, everyone should own their CRAP!

By now you are wondering what type of CRAP I am talking about and I can assure you it’s not what your think it is.  

No, it has nothing to do with juvenile potty talk but rather a useful acronym: C for Credit, R for Reputation, A for Accounts, and P for Privacy.

Today, we have to be on constant guard concerning our Identity which in a sense is our own CRAP.  It’s how we do business, communicate, and interact on a daily basis with one another.   It’s something we often take for granted and we spread it around on the Internet like manure on a field.  Which indecently is really crap and is not polite to talk or even write about.  

But what happens when our identity is no longer ours.   This is where you no longer own your CRAP but is now owned by another.   This is called Identity Theft and this is where your CRAP literally hits the fan.  The result is a huge mess with all your credit and accounts being splattered all over the wall.  Not to mention what your reputation and privacy have turned into.  This is NOT a pretty site!   All to often the clean up is your responsibility even though you were not the one who throw it at the fan in the first place.
