“I love when we just...”

SOFT MORNING SUKKA ONE SHOT TO GIVE YALL THE OOGIES.

Suki rolled over in her sleep and ended up pressing against Sokka not completely cuddling him as she usually would. She softly murmured incoherent words and nuzzled into his arm. The Water tribesmen lightly chuckled and adjusted her body so he could properly cuddle her close. He brought his arm around her upper back and cuddle her head to his chest. His other arm draped around her torso and pulled her other half close. She looked so little. Of course, he knew if he ever told Suki she looked little and that he just wanted to squish and eat her up that she wouldn’t hesitate to hit him, playfully of course.

Suki whined a little in her sleep. She shifted a bit at his tender touch and put her arm across his chest to hug him. She rubbed her head into his chest making herself comfortable. A sigh of satisfaction escaped her lips and she continue to lightly snore.

Sokka chuckled and took his hand that draped over her torso to her hand that was resting tenderly on his chest. He gently intertwined their fingers and brought her hand to his lips, kissing each finger delicately. Suki shifted a bit and grumbled lightly in her sleep. Sokka brought her hand to his heart and tilted his head to the side to give the top of her head a loving kiss. He gazed down at her sleeping and couldn’t help but smile. The young Kyoshi warrior cuddled her herself more deeply into him and murmured something he couldn’t make out.

She’s was truly Sleeping Beauty.

Suki shifted again,this time hugging him tighter with her arm draped across his chest. Her cheek pressed firmly against the water tribe boy’s bare chest and her lips squished against her arm. Sokka couldn’t help but lean down to give his sleeping girlfriend another kiss. He adored her so much.

A few moments of silent passed.

Sokka admire her and began to talk, “Hey Suks, I know you’re probably having a wonderful dream right now and that it’s really early but I woke up early today and I couldn’t go back to sleep. I couldn’t help but notice how beautiful you are when you sleep. Well to be honest you’re always so stunning.” Sokka chuckled as she shifted again. He swore he could see a smile creep onto her face.

He began to gently stroke her hair and continued“You’re so strong and beautiful. This is kinda creepy but I like watching you sleep. You just let yourself go and you’re totally open. I would also like to add that you are the cutest. Erhem please don’t beat me up if you heard that!” He sighed, “I’m glad that you allow yourself to be vulnerable to me. That you’re not afraid to let your guard down because I know you don’t need protecting.” Suki sighed. It was as if she could hear everything he was saying. “But you know Suks, I’ll always be here to protect you.”

“I love you Suki. Did I ever tell you that? Probably. But I love you so much. You’re my world. You are beautiful, strong, brave, caring, compassionate, funny, patient, did I mention that you are drop dead gorgeous at all times of day. Also, I love you. I know you can’t hear me right now but I am literally in love with you.” He leaned down to kiss her head again. Sokka’s heart fluttered with complete love and affection for her. “You know, I should probably tell you this when you’re awake but I don’t wanna freak you out.” Suki shifted again and light coughed.

He decided to get up to make her some tea for when she woke up but Suki tightened her embrace on him, bringing him close again.

Suki nuzzled her face his chest again and whined softly, “Sokka.” Her voice was hoarsed from sleep but Sokka could hear her longing, “Stay.”

He flinched a little, “Suki, are you awake?” He began to stroke her hair.

Suki, with her eyes still shut, chuckled sleepily, “Yes,baby.” The beautiful warrior pressed a gentle kiss on his chest, “You’re very sweet, Sokka.”

The silly water tribe boy blushed and chuckled out of embarassment. She had heard everything he said.

The boy kissed her cheekbone causing her to smile a little.

To the outside, him and Suki were a pair that poked fun at each other, were tough and playful, and showed minimal affection in public besides the occasional arm punches, cheek kisses, handholding and arm around the shoulder. Nothing too excessive. Sokka was usually the one to initiate PDA and Suki would follow suite but she rarely showed him mushy affection in public. She preferred to keep that private and put up a casual front. What they had was special.

But when it was just the two of them, she was soft, clingy,mushy, and sweet to him. She still played the tough love card on him but she couldn’t help but be mushy just moments after poking fun at him. She was like a lovesick sheep puppy when it was just the two of them. Just like this fine winter morning in the fire nation palace. Sokka and her had finally reunited after months of not seeing each other.

Sokka knew she had always had a hard time being loved. She struggled to show it, give it, and accept it. She’s had awful boyfriends in the past, no family, and abandonment issues. He made it his goal to show her every chance he got how much he loved her, even if she wouldn’t outwardly return his affections.

The young Kyoshian girl cuddled further into her boyfriend. Sokka pulled the blanket more tightly around her. She gets cold easily.

“Sokka...” she sighed. His heart fluttered. She was so soft in that moment. It was moments like these that he treasured.

He began to gently rub her shoulder. Suki sighed and pressed another kiss to his chest. She gently caressed his chest, her eyes still shut.

“Good morning my love.” Sokka whispered, gently pressing his lips to her hair once more.

She let out a little yawn, “Sokka...”

“Yes baby?”

“I love you, stupid.” She lightly chuckled, gently pinching his side.

Suki felt the vibrations of his laugh.

That damn laugh she loved so much.

“I love you beautiful.”

Suki blushed and propped her chin up on his chest. She finally opened her eyes. Blue water tribe eyes met her gaze and her insides pulsed. He was so full of love that she couldn’t help but smile.

“Why are you so nice to me?”

Sokka sat her up gently and engulfed her body into his arms. She felt his love radiating like the sun off of his body into her.

“Because I love you.”

Sokka pulled away to gaze into her indigo eyes. He gently leaned in and brought his lips to hers. Suki wrapped her arms around his neck,running her fingers carefully though his bed hair.

She absorbed every ounce of his love and care for her. Her cheeks flushed, her heart pounded, her breath hitched and quickened, and her tummy fluttered with butterflies as he ran his calloused hands up the skin that her nightgown exposed.

He pulled away and pressed her face in between his warm, calloused hands. The young water tribe warrior chuckled at the sight of his beautiful warrior princess of a girlfriend. Her face all squished up was definitely a sight to see. She smiled adoringly at him and fell into his embrace, absorbing his touch, burying her forehead into his shoulder, and finally lying down on top of him.

Suki sighed, “I love it when it’s just the two of us in the morning. It’s my favorite time of day.” She deepened her touch with him which made Sokka turn into a love sick sheep puppy.

Sokka showed his affections on her temple and chuckled, “I thought you loved our bedtime activities.”

She scowled at him causing Sokka to erupt in laughter again.

The young Kyoshi Warrior lightly smacked her boyfriend then smiled at him stupidly, “Well yeah. I LOVE that whenever it does happen.” She face grew small, “but I especially love it when we just you know...” her voice trailed off. She was shying away.

Sokka turned her cheek and kissed her sweetly, “When we just love?”

Her cheeks flushed again and she buried her face in his chest, bringing her toned arms around him.
