power.
ft. @iddaehan backdated to the ‘power’ music video filming.
he thinks the concept is okay but not his thing. then again, what even is his thing anymore with anything that involves olympus? maybe the others have different opinions, he doesn’t know, he wouldn’t know, he doesn’t communicate enough with them to know (or to even care). but seokyung in his fantastic brand of not giving many fucks and always walking around like he should be receiving the trendiest and most alluring concepts: he thinks it’s boring.
sure, nice message, nice song, nice sound, cool, cool, cool. but the music video... he could only sigh as soon as he read the idea, as soon as it was presented to him, he already knew he was going to be annoyed. at least tempo hadn’t been so bad, so there was that. he could get used to more music and more music videos like that. in his mind, it was okay, it was alright.
but this? it’s too much. he had briefly even played with the idea of coming late to the set for no other reason than to piss everyone else off, but alas, it’s not like he could. but also, outside of that, there was also daehan, the one olympus boy he actually gets along fairly well, he can’t deny that. and maybe that was why he wasn’t as furious or as annoyed as he could be, because he knew he could have his friend around and he could rely on him at least, so that was good.
as one of the makeup artists gives his face the final touches, seokyung’s eyes looks around the set, smiling when he spots his friend. as soon as the lovely lady is done, he smiles at her courteously and makes his way over to him. approaching him from behind, seokyung wraps his arms around daehan’s waist and hugs him tight, resting his chin on his shoulder, “hyung, i didn’t see you earlier.” he breathes out, keeping his friend in his embrace.
at least there’s this, a friend to rely on, a friend to (quite literally right now) lean on. “i’m not sure i’m too happy about this. i feel like we’re going to look dumb.” but he has to remind himself it’s a chain station song, it’s not like it’s going to deeply affect anyone’s discography or career or anything. plus, he can actually agree the fans will like it. he’s just not a big fan of it himself. “do you like it? the concept, i mean.”
