Today the start of Dia de los Muertos I honor my friend and her strong tie to the spirit world. Sometimes it's the smallest things that make the biggest impression. Spending a morning with my friend Carrie, and talking of her amazing path this year and her time living in Mexico. Honoring her own spirit, through her spirit guides, finding her purpose and honoring the feminine. With that comes the 3 lines we laid together on her left hand. The Ida nadi guides the feminine, which is the left side of the body. Acknowledging this and pulling it more to the surface gives representation of the feminine and aids in a reminder to balance the self. Reinventing the self. Women of today can be hardened as we seek respect. Hardening is conductive to the cultivation of masculinity, however to the feminine self it is toxic. Femininity is not a trait of weakness, nor do we need to suppress our feminine self to acquire success and respect. There is great power in mastering the art of femininity and I am so happy to see so many women catching on to this today. We bring something different and necessary to this world, male dominated industries or not... do you!!! And Do it the way you want and how you Do because as a woman we Do things differently. And that's ok🙏🏻❤️ thank you Carrie for showing me more women are growing within themselves and honoring the power of femininity. A video will be posted of the process. #honorthespirit #dayofthedead #diadelosmuertos #blacksagestudio #honorthefeminine #idanadi
