modern au: AVALANCHE are a group of strangers who came from different backgrounds and find themselves going through a forced roadtrip together after they've been stranded by the plane/train/whatever they were taking. along the way and after so much shit, they all become friends.
Strangers, except that Cloud and Tifa knew each other growing up and totally lost contact after shit happened in their home town and Tifaâs trying so hard to catch up. Cloud only sort of remembers her, and sheâs not sure why.
They were all going through Midgar Airport to different places but then some asshole set a control tower on fire and the airport is out of commission. (That actually happened to me once.) But Cid had a van that /mostly/ worked and he couldnât just leave those kids stranded and the dude with the cat was willing to pay for everything and - wait, when did a fuckinâ vampire get in here?
(and then they solve crimes like in scooby doo.)
right back at ya: sephiroth trying to drive one of cloud's bikes (like, i'm pretty sure he's making a collection) and immediately crashing into everything.
Of course Cloud has several. If nothing else, bike and back up bike.
The first time Sephiroth got one one Cloudâs bikes, he hit the kick stand and immediately fell over.
Other notable occurrences -
Sephiroth riding without a helmet against Cloudâs instructions. âItâs not like I can die in a crash, Cloud,â he huffs. Cloud just sighs and says that he was warned. Sephiroth then got a chunk of hair ripped out of his skull when a loose strand got caught in the wheel. Cloud was not sympathetic but helped him clean up anyway
Sephiroth ran into a monster. literally. He was actually quite pleased with this but Cloud made him clean monster guts out of the engine.

Sephiroth is not allowed to do maintenance himself. Cloud looks sexy covered in motor oil though, so everyone is happy.

i know the game is pushing for celes/locke but seriously, my heart is being overtaken by celes/terra. every time they're on-screen together i smile like a dork 'look at my beautiful girls' and it's becoming a problem. i don't know if i ship celes/setzer yet, but i just love how she outsmarted him.
i am 100% on board with celes/terra. and yeah, youâre clearly /supposed/ to ship celes/locke, except for the part where itâs a disaster of a ship that would end badly for both of them.
i kind of ship celes/setzer - I think Iâd rather have Setzer with Edgar, actually? So they can be ridiculous engineering nerds together. I definitely think Celes and Setzer should be bros, though. Because yes, the bit with the coin is magnificent.
Youâre - watching a play through, right? Because there are a couple of side scenes that a first time player might not know to trigger.
