Hey guys. As if the United States government isn’t fucked enough, there are now planning on getting rid of ICWA or the Indian Child Welfare Act. This was enacted back in 1978 to prevent Native children from being removed from their families, tribes, and cultural backgrounds.
Why this was a problem? Because a lot of children were fucking stolen from their homes and being placed with outsiders at an alarmingly high rate even if their Tribes were able to take care of them.
