i went to see Rocketman for the second time today and i loved it just as much as i did the first time.

Taron Egerton played Elton John fantastically, Richard Madden played John Reid fantastically and Jamie Bell played Bernie Taupin fantastically.

the musical numbers were fantastic, the costumes were on another level and i think it showed the darker side of Elton’s life really well as other films would have skimmed over them and just showed the good parts.

the coming out to his mum scene has to be one that stood out for me because Elton finally feels like he can tell her who he really is just to be told he’s never going to be loved because of the life he’s chosen.

another scene i really liked was when Elton finally realised that John Reid was manipulating him and kicked him out of his house because he really felt he couldn’t care less about him.

this film shows that you should always go and seek help when you need it, you shouldn’t just hide away from your problems and be someone you don’t want to be. you need to go seek the help so that you can live a much better life afterwards and seek everything you were missing before and become a better person for it.
