#icosabot

Yannow, I wasn't even sure I'd get another art piece finished before Art Fight starts, but then this idea took hold of me and my brain would not let me work on Anything Else until she was brought to life. So here's Icosabot! You can probably tell they exist solely due to my recent obsession with a certain inseparable pair, hehe. Funny thing is, Eggman didn't make Icosabot, but rather it was built by another OC of mine, Monty the Python, based on some old schematics that yet another OC "found". Unfortunately the comparative lack of resources between Team Trackers and the Eggman Empire kinda takes its toll on the final product, as Icosabot seems to have the robot equivalent of chronic fatigue. She still tries their best tho, and as he's a much better person overall than the bad doctor, Monty does his best to accommodate it when needed c:

(btw in case it wasn't obvious with how often I switched, Icosabot uses any pronouns EXCEPT he/him since it's still figuring itself out, hell they'd prolly use neopronouns and nounself-style pronouns too if she knew about 'em)

Icosabot

When Jazz was on one of her little "excursions" and came back with old blueprints for some oddly familiar-looking robots, Monty was struck by a spark of inspiration and set to work on a derivative model for no reason other than it could be a fun little side project. And so Icosabot was created. It has since taken on the role of Monty's workspace assistant, doubling as a disability aid whenever necessary. Despite seeming uninterested in most goings-on, she's actually quite attentive and tries its best to show they care about the rest of the team however possible. They seem to suffer from their own sort of disability akin to chronic fatigue, and Monty is all too happy to accommodate her when need be. Icosabot sees Monty as a father figure of sorts, and they kind of hope he sees it as his kid in return. She initially didn't care for the other little mechanical menace in Monty's care, but they'll probably come around to Dumbochao eventually. The perfect idiot partner to its comparative intelligence, perhaps?

I HAVE NEVER SLAMMED OUT AN OC FROM INSPO SO FAST PERHAPS I have had my chronically fatigued twenty-sided die childther for less than 24 hours and I already love it. Let's, uh...let's not let them meet Orbot and Cubot tho, just to be on the safe side, okay? As fun as that could be in theory, that would probably give her such an existential crisis (not to mention Orbot's already got beef with their creator, even if the python might only barely remember that encounter lol) ^^;

And yeah, I know there's a non-zero chance that someone else has made an icosahedron shapebot OC at some point since the assumed design template for these lil robuts has existed, but let's be real there are only so many compatible shapes to go around and alls I knew is I didn't wanna do a triangle because that's the popular one XD
