Top of the mornin' to ya
3/5/2015.Â
With the strong cold front leaving the east coast, the United States is under a pretty large high pressure system with not much going on... besides very cold temps and ice on the ground ;)Â
So today I have decided to do something different and attempt a forecast for Ireland!Â
As you can see, the cold front is moving off of the east coast and heads into the Atlantic. Â This system will eventually reach Ireland in a few days. Â
The Low pressure system that will bring the most rain is this one that moves in Monday afternoon. Â Ireland is currently experiencing some light rain, which could affect rainfall totals. Â
With temps above freezing, Ireland will see mostly rain with this system. Â If the wind were coming from the north, there would be a greater chance for snow; instead they are from the west, aka right off of the ocean.Â
The amount of rain that will fall from now until Monday night, totals about 1 inch. Â Some spots in UK receive up to 2 inches precip. Â
I hope everyone enjoyed their ice day today in Starkville!Â
