Can dry ice blasting remove rust?
In the absence of other methods, dry ice blasting will remove any loosely adhered or surface-applied rust, as well as any oxidation and salts (SP 6), but it will not remove deeply adhered or pitted oxidation. The non-abrasive characteristics of dry ice make it insufficiently aggressive for the creation of profiles or a white metal finish.
