Part V. Amanda fumbles with the strap of her guitar backstage at open mic night. She signed up almost at the last minute for it, trying to push herself to put herself out there after a long break from performing.

I had a completely different idea for the fifth thing in this 5+1 fic, I think it was for like a networking party but then I thought it was too similar to the other parts, although I don't really remember what my logic for that was anymore lol. I decided to go with when they meet instead.

Originally, Courtney was supposed to be the one performing with a supportive Amangela to the side and in previous versions you can see that I typed "fumbles with the strap of their guitar" and didn't correct it until like two seconds ago, which indicates an oversight on my part and also just the original intent lmao.

Ultimately, however, I think it works. I was trying to sneak in moments where the other two would find something one of them did hot.

For Courtney, it was a bit she doubled down on - part i.

For Angela, it was an accidental thing - part ii.

And for Amanda - it was the deliberate way she threw a wink in Courtney and Angela's direction while performing after having just met.
