Respect the heroes
Y'all can say anything y'all want to about police and the men and women that work on the force whether it is negative or positive. All I would like to say is I am so proud of my brother for dedicating his time and energy to work hard and sacrifice for his community and to keep it safe. He graduated the police academy today and I couldn't have been prouder. I Love my brother and it brings me joy to know that he is willing to become an officer in a society that is constantly belittling our men and women on the force who want nothing but to protect you. Yes there are bad cops but there are also good ones just like people, there are good people and bad but more often than not the good out weighs out the bad. I will forever be proud of my brother for the sacrifices he has made for himself, his family and his community. I will end this post with a quote from his sergeant, " success is not the key to happiness, happiness is the key to success".
