Rediscover the classic winter warmer with a few gourmet tweaks.
In Ike’s Level 1 Pop’n Sweet Cafe story, he orders an Irish Coffee with sugar, brandy, coffee, and whipped cream while at a bar with MC.
Most Irish coffees are made with whisky, which made finding this recipe a little more difficult. It wasn’t perfect as I wasn’t able to find something that used an alcohol lamp to warm the glass, sugar, and brandy, but it still retains a similar concept by having the sugar and brandy added together. In fact, this recipe adds a little seasonal zest by recommending apple brandy and adding cinnamon and an orange peel at the end.
It’s definitely an upscale take on the classic drink that many of us have attempted on our own only to find it utter disgusting because of poor quality coffee, canned whip cream, and/or more brandy added than necessary, right? ...RIGHT?
(All right, that may have been just me.)
