As a commission artist, I could never do IAP commissions. I see what people are offering for something like $5 sometimes and its way too much. My simple chibis are $40!

I worry about artists burning themselves out. I worry about them offering too much and over-saturating the market with things the rest of us could never afford to do for $5-$10.

When you see the worth in your own art, it helps the rest of us be able to feel worthy of our own and everyone gets to price accordingly.

Maybe I’m thinking too much about this stuff for silly IAP commissions, its just sad that I never could offer anything myself bc of what the market is like. I’ve seen some higher prices and I’m really glad for that, I hope others follow suite too
