Character Meme! Henry Foss and Claudia Donovan
Ughhhhhh you know Henry much better than I do :P sorry it's taken me a while to get to this.
Henry Foss:
What I like about him:
He's an opinionated, nerdy geek who cares about everyone else in the entire universe with his whole heart. He doesn't let anyone tell him what to think (except Magnus, because she's basically his mom), and he works hard and isn't afraid to ask for the praise he deserves.
What I dislike about him:
Uh. Um. This is hard for me to come up with, partially because I haven't seen the show in ages (sadness) and partially because as a whole I focus far more on female characters than male ones.
Favorite moment:
Ahhhhhh so many. Probably either "women and geeks first! Oh wait, that's all of us," or "three words please!" (to which Magnus replies "well done, Henry")
Least favorite moment:
Uhh...I can't really think of anything for this either.
A situation with this character that I want to see explored more:
I wish we could've seen more of his relationship with Ashley, because they grew up essentially as siblings and I love good sibling relationships.
An interesting AU for this character:
I still want a crossover with the teenage geeks from everything. Henry, Claudia from WH13, Kaylee from Firefly, etc. See what they all do together :)

Uhhhh...he started teaching himself to code when he first came to live with Magnus, because he was afraid of this new world and unsure of where he fit in, and the numbers and structures made sense to himHe hates confined spaces because they make him feel like he can't move in his natural way.
Claudia Donovan:
What I like about her:
She's a mentally ill teenager who's been in a psychiatric hospital and isn't perfect and yet she still knows that she's awesome. And she is treated as competent and useful and worthwhile despite the fact that she has a problematic past.
What I dislike about her:
Although this is entirely understandable based on her age and history, she often acts in very self-serving ways without thinking about the consequences of her actions. This does, however, just increase how amazing of a character she is.
Favorite moment:
Probably when HG is in the kitchen at Leena's and scares her and she drops a glass. Or any and all of her interactions with Steve.
Least favorite moment:
When she's angry at Leena for having used her face while sabotaging things, even though it was MacPherson's fault.
A situation with this character that I want to see explored more:
I love when she talks about her time in the psychiatric hospital, and when she shows that she's scared of the person she was then - because I can so heavily relate.
An interesting AU for this character:
I want to see a Claudia where Joshua and Claire weren't taken out of her life so early on, because they are so incredibly important to her and maybe a Claudia with them in her life would not have had her traumatic experiences - but then she also wouldn't be the Claudia I know and love, so I don't know.

Claudia likes classical music as well as more modern rock and indie stuff, and she took it as her personal mission to teach HG how much music had changed while she'd been bronzed.Claudia always always always makes breakfast in bread and gets a gift for Artie on Father's Day, and even though he always acts grumpy about it, he absolutely loves it and she knows it.She still tries to prank Steve on April Fool's Day, even though she knows he'll be able to see through her.
