“My ‘Proverbs 19:21’ Kind of Year 2015”
“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” -- Proverbs 19:21
There’s a big part of me that will always be grateful for what God has given to me. There are things we thought that it is already His plan for us, but it turned out a life lesson instead. And we considered it a blessing--- a blessing that will draw us near to Him. They said that, we encounter problems because it is only just a test of faith. And worrying is not a step to make us believe that God is able. In every trials, there’s a lesson we get from it. It can be a lesson about yourself, family, friends, love life, social issues, etc. There are times that we are praying for something we want and eventually it never came. The Bible says that everything has a right time. Maybe, this is not the right time yet for those things we want in our lives. We just keep on trusting Him and follow His steps.
I was once in a journey that everything was hopeless, everything was dark and stormy. I was tormented by my thoughts and people tried to bring me down, but You didn’t let them. You found me in a bumpy road of my life. You helped me to get out of the way. There are times that I almost forget You. That I never had a time to talk to You. But You always there whenever I feel lonely and sad. You always make me feel that I am Your daughter and You will never leave me even though I have done bad things to You. You forgave me and now I am living with Your Grace forever…
This year, I have experienced a lot of blessings, happiness, heartaches, rejections… But by the grace of God, I am still standing. I’m so grateful to those people who made my 2015 and have been an instrument to make people happy. I don’t need to enumerate those problems because what matters most is that, God is there for you even if you fail Him a hundred times. His forgiveness is everlasting. Most especially, I just want to thank my parents who wholeheartedly supported me in all of my endeavors. 2015 is a tough one for me. I am ready for what God has in store for me in 2016. I surrender all to Him. Thank you, Lord, for embracing me this year. You amazed me! I love you.
I am extremely blessed. I am highly-favored by God.
