Christmas break, 3 weeks without cyclocross, means time to get get some base miles in and enjoy the social rides. - @RudyMelo
It is very frustrating to have to stop a few times per lap to either put your chain back on or clear mud from your tyres so you can ride again.
Having a pit bike and pit friends is very common in cross. I bet it comes VERY handy during a muddy race. I did wish I had a pit bike during Sunday’s race, especially after seeing riders swapping bikes every lap and not having to stop to clear mud from their bikes. But there is a big jump from one to two bikes.
Last cyclocross race of 2015 done. Now I am looking forward to the last few races left at the beginning of 2016, hopefully with less mud.
