        The capacity of a person to communicate successfully in the media and with information is advantageous since it requires the application of critical thinking to understand and be informed. We'll be able to collect valuable information from a wide range of sources with the help of this tool. The media and information may also help us identify and analyze important information by using a range of information sources. People who are well-versed in information and media literacy can evaluate and make well-informed decisions as users of information and media, as well as develop and produce their own media messages with confidence. They can read between the lines of social media postings to search for bias or motive, and also grasp a news article and understand how the reporter is presenting it. This also keeps us up-to-date and prepared, allowing us to adapt to a lot of situations. As a result, our modern brains are capable of thriving in both analog and digital worlds. 

          Responsible media and information literacy include being able to provide high-quality and reliable information for the wider populace, since it is important now to encourage our fellow citizens to be more open and educated about world events and developments. Being able to convey information that is innovative legally, ethically, and most importantly respects human rights is an essential virtue of being responsible media and information literate. Individuals who engage in critical media analysis are ideally prepared for college and career advancement.  In today's world, being able to obtain information in the blink of an eye is quite convenient. Students may also utilize the media to get essential information. The students are also exposed to new technologies that will improve communication. As a student, media and information literacy are important since it enhances our capacity to think, communicate, and collaborate with others. So we should value it since it is the knowledge we can bring and share with others.

             Information plays a significant role in our society and even in us people. Without those, we may not be able to gain knowledge in such essential things. Information also helps us develop our skills in making our judgments or even decisions in life. That is why being Information literate is a great help to each individual, especially that the information we get from other people or on the internet world has a big impact on our life because it does not just affect on the way we make a decision but also on how we think, solve problems, ask questions, seek answers, build opinions, and gather information or data. Media Information literature (MIL) is an important aspect that we should learn to embrace because it helps us have a better understanding of what media is. It enhances our skills in communicating and uses different mediums of communication. The purpose of being information media literate is to engage ourselves in a computer-based society. We individuals must learn how to use technology and the different mediums of communication like social media, cellphone, computers, etc. Nowadays, we people are more exposed to technology using different kinds of media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and many more because it is very accessible.

              Media Information Literacy (MIL) is an essential skill to cope up in this generation to analyze, understand, and learn the information. Especially that our generation is engaging with technologies that allow us to be Media pieces of information, literate individuals. It is easier for us as we gather information in different kinds of media. Though some might be inaccurate and unreliable, we can check if the information is legit. Media and Information Literacy help us improve the quality of life, improved learning environment, and more cohesive learning units. It helps us develop the ability to analyze and understand the information we have seen on the internet world or messages that we receive because not all information on the internet is valid or factual.  That's why we must apply the value of being media literate to avoid sharing or spreading false information. Using media, we must be responsible, sensitive, and rational because everything we do in social media is an affiliate with our responsibilities just like what William Jefferson Clinton said “Literacy is not a luxury, it is a right and a responsibility.” So we must be cautious of sharing information. We must check it first before we share it.
