So I'm working on an art piece for a local gallery Halloween display. It's a collage piece inspired by cannibalism and prion diseases. It will feature a cannibal sitting at a table covered with brains and organs.
The deadline for submitting an entry is the end of the month, and I could use some help with the name. I have narrowed it down to two options. "Waste Not" or "Feeding Hazard." I really like both and can't decide which one I want to use.
The name Waste Not comes from the ideal of not wasting food, and the word Not is crossed out because of Chronic Wasting Disease, a prion disease seen in deer. The idea here is that, while you are not wasting any meat, the meat is causing you and your mind to waste away.
I think Feeding Hazard is pretty straight forward. By feeding on human flesh, you are exposing your body to hazardous material and conditions.
So...

I will be sure to post the art piece when it is done! I will add the appropriate tags to help protect those with certain triggers or sensitivities, as this is a heavy topic and I am using cut out photos of real human organs and body parts.

It's officially that time again! Get ready for this year's Spooky Time Arts!
I ended up reusing some of my favorite words from last time since I never ended up completing it previously. So here's a chance to try again!
I also made two other prompts! I realize that it can be hard to do daily drawings, so now there are other options!
Remember! Spooky Time Arts doesn't have to be drawing! It can be any form of art. This ranges from baking, music, photography, sculpting, crafts, sewing, knitting, videos, short films, and more! You can even do blacksmithing for all I care! (Honestly, that would be SUPER COOL! If someone does end up doing blacksmithing, please tag me! I wanna see!!!)
