Got any hunger headcanons for the One and Oni Arataki Itto?
In the most lovingly and affectionate way, I think I.tto's probably the whiny type when hungry, he's not ashamed at all to admit it, complaining about the empty state of his stomach to anyone to happens to be there. And still, most of the times he doesn't even need to say it himself, because his belly is just as loud as he is, and probably EVEN MORE vocal about being hungry to him. So if there was a situation where he did wanted to hide his hunger, it would be completely imposible for him, because his stomach would keep rumbling non-stop, angryly complaining at him.
That kind of situation would happen more often than you think, as he's a kind soul after all, and if he needed to give up his own food to avoid someone else going hungry, he would do it without hesitation, knowing the unpleasant feeling of keep going on an empty tummy from his harsh days of childhood. The only problem is that while his intention to help is very much true, he also wouldn't be able to hide the fact he's quite hungry too. He would hold his stomach trying (and failing) to muffle it's growling and stare longlily at the food as the other person eats, but still insist that THEY should have it instead. He's the great A.rataki I.tto after all, he can go on a little longer without food, it's nothing to him. (Argument that is very much a contradiction to how he uses to handle hunger most of the time. But shhhhh)
ALSO, as an oni, I think it just would be obvious for him to have a bigger appetite than most people, and as a treat to myself I also think that he's pretty tall and most of people head's are just at the height of his tummy when next to him, so when he's hungry (or full!) you would get a perfect hear of what's going in there c:
