My Interpretation: I felt that the 4 cards were separated into 2 distinct categories, and thus I chose to approach them as 2 different "themes" of career options. Top Row: This pair suggested to me a sense of displacement and the past or children/childhood. To me that would suggest career paths that deal with ancestry, genealogy or archeology perhaps. Helping, advising or educating people on their history or roots. It could be working with adoption services to provide children new places of stability in their lives as well. Bottom Row: A far more "grim" looking pair that I feel suggests a career path into more mental realms such as therapist. The Death card, a very serious Major Arcana card suggests dedicated work in this endeavor, perhaps going as far as grief counselling or even funeral parlor staff. If you're not squeamish perhaps this pair is also suggesting finding the truth behind death, which could indicate homicide detective or EMT staff. All of these suggestions would make for work that takes dedication and would most certainly bring a sense of fulfillment as its all important work to do.
