I-SITE and PhillyCHI are pleased to host a technology- and design-themed Quizzo at The Trestle Inn as part of Philadelphia Tech Week (phillytechweek.com/). Trivia questions will be based on technology, design, architecture, art history, and other related topics. First, second, and third place teams will be rewarded with gift certificates to The Trestle Inn. Aussie-land
Hello Sydney! We've just arrived on a kind of gross rainy day after getting to the airport in Wellington, NZ at 4:30 am. Needless to say, we're resting before we hit up some indoor activities. Anyway our last day in NZ was pretty good despite the on and off rain. Wellington is a very cute city, and has a different vibe than Auckland. It's much smaller and has a much more laid back feel. Andrew and I walked around Welligton CBD and took the Wellington cable car up to the Botanic Gardens. We managed to catch some city/harbor views before it started raining. We then went by the wharf to check it out when it started raining harder, so we ducked into the i-Site (super useful tourist information center in almost every major city in NZ where they can book everything for you from buses to day tours for free) and booked a half day Wellington Rover tour. Saw some amazing parks around the outskirts of Wellington and even got a peak at Wellywood from Mount Victoria. Then in the evening Andrew and I met up with our new Kiwi friend that we met on the National Park to Wellington bus ride and had dinner (fish and chips and in a chinese owned fish market) and drinks (at Havana) on Cuba Street. It was a Tuesday so not a huge night by Kiwi standards apparently. all in all though it was a great final note to our time in New Zealand. I definitely need to go back particularly to get a chance to explore South Island.
