Good news for foreign students who want to study in America. The US Department of State has announced that F and M student visas will be issued a year before the start date of the I-20 program. However, even if a student visa is obtained a year in advance, it is possible to come to the US only 30 days before the start of the academic year. This announcement will allow universities in the US to grant and accept I-20 forms 12-14 months in advance.
