WIP Wednesday - Closed (7/5/23) | Beware becoming my partner in Madness

“I already told you that you didn’t need to endure anything anymore. I told you you could rest now because I’m protecting you and Neil now.” Andrew says and as always it is a strange thing to look into Neil’s eyes and see a different person staring back at him. It’s not a bad strange when that other person is Nathaniel. “I’m telling you now that if you want to do something, go somewhere, or anything then let me know and I will get you there.” He says.

Andrew watches as there is a brief flash of excitement and hope in Nathaniel’s eyes before that spark diminished and his gaze lowered from Andrew’s, “Andrew…you shouldn’t offer that to me.” Nathaniel says. “Neil wouldn’t-“

“Neil likes when I’m gentle with you because you are him.” He repeats Neil’s sentiment because Andrew himself still isn’t quite sure what Nathaniel is. He hasn’t looked too deeply because it had never mattered to him. “So I will offer it and you will let me know if that’s something you want. Do you understand?” He asks tightening his grip ever so slightly on Nathaniel’s face.

He could feel Nathaniel’s jaw work under his palms.

5. What does your OC normally wear? What would your OC wear on a special night?

Olivia: Olivia is the typical wannabe baddie. She wears black cargo pants, black sneakers and a purple tank under her Samurai jacket. Her hair is always up in a ponytail and on occasion she’ll wear a cap of she’s trying to be incognito. On a special night? A black mini-skirt and a blouse! Nothing fancy.

Billie: My goth kid also wears black—but she still wears her paramedic uniform when she’s out and about. Her short dark brown hair is usually down but often times braided into pigtails. Special occasion? Shorts and a tank since it’s the apocalypse and she didn’t save her nice clothes :/.

10.What does your OC keep in a special drawer?

Olivia: She usually keeps a tiny box in her panties drawer which has her mementos from her relationships. A ring that belonged to her brother Marlon, a photo of her mom and dad in better times, and Johnny’s signature on a napkin.

Billie: Billie keeps her wedding ring in a matchbox in a old set of drawers in her room. Though she and Javi have drifted apart, her marriage was still a big part of her life. 

15. What was your OC’s childhood like?

O: Olivia had a good childhood. Though her father was absent, her older brother Adrian made up for it by helping their mother with the chores at home while she worked. Adrian cooked, cleaned, and helped his younger siblings get through school and what not all while balancing his own school work. Olivia looked up to him like a father in a lot of ways. As for her friends she considered Marlon to be her closest friend despite the fact that she and Eddie were closer in age and “full-blooded” siblings. 

B: Billie’s childhood was filled with love and happiness for a short time. There were days where she and Ruby would play together and there were times where her father’s clubmembers made up for the lack of Ella’s attention. At age 13, however, Billie had to grow up fast in order to help raise her sisters who lacked Ella’s motherly love. 

20. What kind of mother/father would your OC be?

O: Olivia (though she has no desire to be a mother as of yet) would be perhaps the embodiment of what her mother was: unconditional love. She would be strict but supportive at the same time and would never want her children to feel as though they had to be what society wanted.

B: Billie would be the mother she lacked growing up as a child. She would be the kind of parent she wished she had growing up. Though she had Mickey when it counted it wasn’t enough. He too would get sidetracked with club business and not spend enough time paying attention to his girls. Billie would be the opposite and probably smother them. 

25. If your OC has a soulmate, who is it?

O: My thot ass says Johnny but in the end it would probably be Vic. Victor I feel would give Olivia what she needed while Johnny would be the very thing she craves. She knows in the long run it’ll be Vic. (we ain’t gonna have a ramona/burke situation here!!! olivia is gonna be happy no matter what!!) 

B: I honestly think that Javier is the one. No doubt about it. 

30. Did your OC participate in extracurricular activities, and if so, what were they?

O: Nope!!! Olivia believe it or not she’s lazy af. 

B: She’ll go hiking even though Mickey has a heartattack because she refuses to go with someone else. Hiking is where it’s at for her even though she almost got attacked by a wolf. :/

35. How is your OC working towards his/her dream job and/or achieved his/her current profession?

O: Olivia loves being a mercenary. She can’t envision herself doing something else. She works hard for her name to be known among everyone in the underworld. It took years for her to build up her reputation as “V”, and along with her brother Marlon they were known as V and M. Two people who can get any job done. It’s something she wants to continue, a legacy to uphold in a lot of ways. 

B: Considering the apocalypse happened it didn’t leave room for Billie to really grow in her profession. However, she did manage to build up a reputation for herself by teaching herself the basics and improving her knowledge of medicine. She knows now more so than ever that the people she loves most need her.

40. How does your OC handle grief?

O: Olivia is not good with handling grief. She tends to be very emotional and refuses to really put her feelings on the back burner. 

B: Billie is slower when it comes to processing feelings. It takes her a moment to absorb what’s happening before she can fully release herself into it.

45. What are some things that annoy your OC?

O: People talking over her, condescending tones, waiting in line, people who can’t shut the fuck up, and people who pick their nose. :/

B: The engine of a motorcycle, loud music, loud eaters. 

50. What secrets does your OC have?

O: Olivia was pregnant. Once. With Johnny’s baby. She had a miscarriage and for one brief moment she felt--relieved. However, feelings of guilt stirred inside her and she went through a depression in the months following. The only person who knew was Marlon. 

B: Billie doesn’t really have any deep dark secrets. :/ She really is squeaky clean.

55. What are your OC’s thoughts on death?

O: She’s not afraid of it as she should be. She feels like she only has one life and she should take advantage of it.

B: Billie fears it more than she’d care to admit. The thoughts of what happens when you’re gone have always stirred in her and she’s always been afraid that nothing will wait for her on the otherside. 

60. If your OC could change one thing about him/herself, what would it be?

O: Well...she’s got breast implants so she figures that’s the only thing really!

B: Probably her need to do everything herself. She knows she runs herself ragged trying to stretch herself thin to please everyone but she knows she has to take a breath and really focus on herself for a change.

65. What is your OC’s favorite drink?

O: Cocktails! Mainly ones with a lot of vodka.

B: Coffee. Lots of it!

70. What is your OC’s favorite book?

O: A Morgan Blackhand biography she managed to make time for. Morgan is her childhood hero so she’s obsessed with everything they do. It offers her in a way a code of conduct.

B: Billie’s favorite book is probably anything Edgar Allen Poe wrote. Her favorite is The Tell Tale Heart. She’s into the macabre so that fit right in with her.

75. What is your OC’s favorite scent?

O: She loves the smell of rain. 

B: Lilacs!

80. What is your OC’s favorite dinosaur?

O: None. She’s the “i sleep” meme with anything old.
